Curriculum Philosophy and Design Principles
The CIPS curriculum is designed to:
- Be industry-driven, operationally practical, and regulator-aligned
- Address competency gaps across the downstream petroleum value chain
- Support licensing compliance, safety assurance, operational efficiency, and governance standards
- Provide progressive learning pathways from frontline staff to executives
- Align with best practices from peer institutes in Nigeria and East Africa, adapted to Ghana’s regulatory and operational environment
