CIPS training programmes shall be organised under seven (7) Schools, each offering modular short courses, certificates, and professional programmes.

Curriculum Philosophy and Design Principles

The CIPS curriculum is designed to:

  • Be industry-driven, operationally practical, and regulator-aligned
  • Address competency gaps across the downstream petroleum value chain
  • Support licensing compliance, safety assurance, operational efficiency, and governance standards
  • Provide progressive learning pathways from frontline staff to executives
  • Align with best practices from peer institutes in Nigeria and East Africa, adapted to Ghana’s regulatory and operational environment
